Encompass Cleanrooms Welcomes Chris Fredriksen as VP of Sales & Business Development
As Encompass Cleanrooms continues to grow, our growth included a familiar name this week, Chris Fredriksen. And we’re proud to announce that Chris is joining our team as Vice President of Sales & Business Development.
Chris isn't new to cleanrooms, or even to the Encompass team. He had spent more than 15 years in cleanroom design-build and business development at Hodess Cleanrooms and Angstrom Technology, where he worked with the current Encompass team (Matt Isard, Matt Purvis, Aaron Klein and Reid Bannister). In doing so, he worked closely with manufacturers across the aerospace, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biotech, advanced manufacturing, and defense sectors. This background aligns perfectly with what we do at Encompass, which is to turn complex regulatory and production requirements into world-class cleanrooms that get built on schedule.
In his new role, Chris’s focus will be to lead strategic growth initiatives and work directly with clients throughout the Western U.S. on planning, budgeting, design, and turnkey delivery. For manufacturers in that region considering a cleanroom project, you have a point of contact who’s solved similar challenges to the ones you face more than a few times.
But there’s also more to the story here. Several members of our team, including some who Chris will work alongside daily, spent years working together in the cleanroom industry before Encompass existed. He now reunites with former teammates, which is what happens when you build strong working relationships with exceptional people.
That matters for clients too. A cleanroom project runs on trust, and whether the person on the other end actually understands your operations. Adding someone with Chris's track record doesn't just expand our sales team. It adds another expert who can walk into your plant, ask the right questions, and get the project priced and moving (instead of being stuck in months of back and forth).
Chris joins a sales and business development team that already includes Luke Weavers, Matt Isard and Matt Purvis, with his own extensive project management and sales experience in this industry. Having both of them in place means Encompass clients get someone who knows what it takes to make their project a success.
Encompass has been clear about where we’re headed, with a focus on steady growth, more markets, and a bigger footprint – without losing the direct, no-oversell approach that clients appreciate. Bringing on someone like Chris, who has spent his career driving results and making life easier for clients, is part of how that happens.
If you're in the Western U.S. and working through a cleanroom project, or if you just want to say hello, he’s easy to find.
Welcome to Encompass, Chris!
